Since the hit dystopian series ’The Hunger Games’ ended, Jennifer Lawrence has continued to push the envelope with her roles picking somewhat atypical films to star in (see ‘Mother’ released in 2017). Now in 2018, Lawrence reunites with THG director Francis Lawrence with ‘Red Sparrow’ a spy thriller based on the 2013 novel of the same name by Jason Matthews.

The film stars Jennifer Lawrence, Joel Edgerton, Matthias Schoenaerts, Charlotte Rampling, Mary-Louise Parker, and Jeremy Irons and tells the story of a Russian intelligence officer who is sent to make contact with a CIA agent in the hope of discovering the identity of a mole.
